West Ham formally announce another new signing tonight, five-year deal agreed – Dharmesh Sheth

West Ham United are set to formally announce the arrival of Mohammed Kudus from Ajax after he completed a medical, according to Dharmesh Sheth.

Writing on Twitter on Sunday morning (27 August), the Sky Sports News journalist reported that the confirmation of the 23-year-old’s move to the London Stadium “could come as soon as” Sunday night.

It is understood that the Ghana international will sign a five-year contract with the Irons with the option of an extra 12 months.View Tweet

Solid signing

West Ham’s amazing start to the Premier League season could be seriously strengthened with the arrival of Kudus from Ajax.

Firstly, Brighton wanted to sign the Ghanaian and we know that almost everything they touch in the transfer window turns to gold.

Secondly, the 23-year-old has been lighting it up on all fronts for Ajax and we thoroughly expect him to be able to hit the ground running at the London Stadium.

With West Ham doing so well, it shouldn’t be too hard for a player who’s also in form to slot into the side.

Already this season, Kudus has four goals in three appearances having netted once in the Eredivisie against Heracles before scoring a hat-trick away at Ludogorets in the Europa League qualifiers this week.

Last term, the former Nordsjaelland forward scored 18 times and supplied seven assists in 42 appearances across all competitions for Ajax.

He’s on a hot streak and will no doubt fit in well with David Moyes’ side.

We cannot wait for this one.
