Tottenham have now agreed to player exit – Personal terms being negotiated

Tuesday saw reports from Italy that Lazio have identified Hugo Lloris as a candidate to be their number two goalkeeper.

With the Frenchman no longer first choice at Tottenham Hotspur, his time at the club is seen as over. The summer has been an opportunity for the stopper to find a new club, however, it hasn’t gone as well as he may have hoped for.

The prospect of being second choice at Lazio almost certainly wasn’t the kind of opportunity Lloris will have been aiming at, although today’s reports sound a little brighter.

Gianluca Di Marzio states the Rome club want Lloris to ‘work alongside’ Ivan Provedel, which sounds a little better than being his back-up and makes it appear the Tottenham player could push his way through.

The same report explains that Spurs have agreed to let Lloris go as a free agent, and it’s now a case of the goalkeeper negotiating his personal terms with the Serie A club.

A two year contract is thought to be the basis of that.
